Dr. Bilal Mohamad El Yafawi
Consultant Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine | Founder, Ortho X Clinic
Dr. Bilal El Yafawi is a globally recognised Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical excellence across Germany and the Middle East. Currently serving as the Head of the Trauma & Orthopaedic Department at Rashid Hospital, Dubai, he is known for his advanced expertise in joint replacement, sports injuries, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic-assisted orthopaedics.
Educated and trained in Germany, Dr. El Yafawi has led complex trauma care units and surgical teams at leading teaching hospitals, including Freiburg University. His international faculty roles with Arthrex, Johnson & Johnson, and Stryker reflect his standing in global orthopaedic innovation and education. He is also the Founder and Chairman of the prestigious International Trauma Congress (ITC), a leading platform for surgical advancement and collaboration.

Dr. Hisham Al-Khayat
Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon | MD, FRCS(C), ABNS
Dr. Hisham Al-Khayat is an American- and Canadian-board-certified neurosurgeon and spine surgeon with more than 23 years of clinical and surgical experience, providing comprehensive neurosurgical and spine care for both adult and pediatric patients.
Throughout his career, he has conducted more than 75,000 patient consultations and performed over 7,000 brain, spine, and peripheral nerve surgeries.
A pioneer in endoscopic spine surgery and ultra-minimally invasive neurosurgical techniques in Kuwait and the Gulf region, Dr. Al-Khayat completed advanced fellowship training in Spine Surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami, and in Cerebrovascular Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas.
Dr. Al-Khayat has contributed to neurosurgical research and the medical literature, with publications in journals including Neurosurgery, Journal of Neurosurgery, and Surgical Neurology. His clinical and academic interests include adult and pediatric neurosurgery, endoscopic and minimally invasive spine surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, intracranial aneurysms, cervical myelopathy, and peripheral nerve surgery.
He currently serves as a Visiting Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon at Ortho X Clinic, Dubai, bringing extensive international experience in advanced neurosurgical and spine care to adult and pediatric patients in the UAE.
